There’s nothing like waking up to the smell of coffee, and when I say coffee I mean a coffee made from freshly ground roasted beans brewed to perfection. Ever since Iv’e had my first cup of coffee house coffee, it’s been hard to turn back to the instant variants. I became my own barista.
This review is on the E-Prance Burr Coffee Grinder. A great cup of coffee really starts at the beans, and the tools used to process them are imperative. This burr style coffee grinder by E-Prance is a great single serve bean grinder in a compact robust package. If I were making a few cups of coffee I would just use an electric grinder. The stainless steel casing is easy to clean as well as good on the eyes. The crank handle on top is removable for storage or travel. After removing the handle, I had access to the coffee bean compartment. At the bottom of the grinder is a storage container to catch the freshly ground powder.
The beans can be ground to several levels of coarseness by using a small knob at the bottom of the unit. Personally, when I make a french press coffee, I like the grounds more coarse so I don’t end up with a cup of sediment. When making a regular coffee I usually grind it finer. I haven’t tried it yet, but I think this grinder can be used to grind almonds as well.
I received this coffee grinder in exchange for my honest review, and I think it’s a good personal grinder.
